Ekaterina Lancaster

Ekaterina, Kat is a Marriage and Family Therapy, and Professional Clinical Counselor trainee.

 

She enjoys working with adults, couples, and families navigating mental health issues, life transitions, relationship challenges, emotional distress, and cultural adjustments. She helps navigate complex post-traumatic stress and the lasting emotional impacts of difficult life experiences. Kat strives to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment.

 

Kat recently earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Jessup University. Prior to the psychology field, in 1990th she completed master’s degree in metallurgical science at St. Petersburg State Technical University, Russia. Her scientific family background, combined with her natural curiosity, humanity, and active lifestyle, artistic mind, shaped her investigative, thoughtful, integrative therapeutic approach rooted in a bio-psycho-socio-spiritual concept.

 

Kat came to the US in 2002; the time deepened her awareness of the psychological impacts of trauma and major life disruptions. As an immigrant herself, she understands the challenges of cultural adaptation and enjoys supporting clients with diverse backgrounds, navigating bilingualism and identity issues.

 

Kat is a certified Brainspotting Practitioner, she had 12 years of experience as Certificate Massage Practitioner; she is an athlete, musician, and artist,

also trained in yoga and meditation. With a strong interest in the mind–body-spirit connection, she integrates somatic awareness and human emotional responses.

 

As an experienced parent Kat values emotional intelligence in family relationships. She is passionate about her clients’ finding themselves building healthier bonds and living more meaningful lives.
