Monique Krehbiel

As an MFT Trainee, I am deeply honored to journey alongside my clients as they navigate the complexities of the human experience. It is a profound privilege that my clients trust me with their innermost thoughts and feelings. In the grand tapestry of life, no one emerges unhurt, and I firmly believe there is no shame in seeking assistance when needed. A core aspiration of mine, as I pursue a career as a psychotherapist, is to dismantle the societal stigma that shrouds mental health challenges.

Before embarking on my path in mental health, I dedicated over 27 years to being a devoted mother and wife. During this period, I gained over 15 years of valuable experience volunteering at various schools, from elementary to high school. My roles included serving as PTA president and leading many fundraisers, which deepened my understanding of various personalities and perspectives. I particularly enjoy working with new mothers, couples, and the elderly population, finding fulfillment in supporting them through their unique challenges.

My life journey, enriched by my European and Asian heritage and extensive international living experiences, has equipped me to connect with individuals from all walks of life. Prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom, I earned my B.A. in Linguistics from the University of California, Los Angeles. After dedicating years to family life, I decided to return to academia and am currently pursuing my M.A. in Counseling Psychology at Jessup University, Rocklin, California, which I will be earning in November 2024.

In closing, I am wholeheartedly committed to accompanying my clients on their journey toward mental well-being, drawing upon my diverse life experiences and educational background to provide compassionate and effective therapeutic support.
