Enli A. Sandoval

I’ve worked in a wide variety of places: school counseling, county work, psychiatric hospitals, and community mental health; have all helped me develop a deep understanding of what it takes to be a human in our world. I am passionate about working with survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, teens/young adults, and the Hispanic community.

My therapy style is existential/humanistic – which means I believe our humanness is unique, anxiety about life is normal (but manageable), and we are all responsible for being the best version of ourselves. I can talk about existential dread and grief all day long. I also have a strong DBT background, which are all the tools, tips, and tricks that are used to make our day-to-day feel easier. And when our day feels easier, we can have some room to feel our feelings… and finally do some healing.

I am direct, warm, and I love bringing humor into the therapy room. I will gladly share with you everything I know about mental health so you feel empowered to make your own decisions.
I love to crochet, I keep up with pop-culture, I love live music, I am a Chico State grad, I love Star Wars, and I absolutely want to see pictures of your pets.
