Erica Messenger

Being a therapist for me has been a calling which came out of the depths of grief/loss and trauma. Through my grief journey, which spans over the past two decades, I am drawn to helping others through their own experiences with grief and loss. I am a Certified Grief Informed Professional and will link arms with my clients as they navigate their new normal that comes following loss.

My other specialties include, anxiety depression, relationship issues, processing trauma, compassion fatigue, work issues and culture issues, specifically for Latinx individuals. I am here to empower, support and guide you towards a healthier way of living and thriving.

I have experience working with adolescents, young adults and adults and enjoy witnessing the progress my clients make throughout their therapeutic journey.

I hold a Bachelor’s in Christian Counseling and a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling. I am passionate about leading my clients through the therapy journey with kindness, empathy, compassion and quality care.

In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and our sweet dog, Toby; watching television, listening to music, spending time with friends and family, volunteering, reading, finding new restaurants (we’re big foodies) and traveling the world.
