Kimberly Aldaco
As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, my focus lies in supporting individuals on their journey toward becoming the best version of themselves. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, and holistic approaches to create a personalized and effective therapeutic experience. I am deeply experienced in trauma-informed care, working with both children and adults, and place great emphasis on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for healing. Whether my clients are navigating life transitions, emotional distress, or interpersonal challenges, I work collaboratively to empower growth, resilience, and self-awareness.
My clinical experience spans across working with individuals coping with grief, including those mourning the loss of a loved one or adjusting to life with chronic illness. I have also worked closely with the LGBTQ+ community, providing affirming, in-depth couples therapy and learning deeply from the diverse stories my clients bring. Additionally, I have extensive experience supporting adolescents and adults experiencing suicidal ideation, always approaching this work with empathy, attentiveness, and a deep commitment to their safety and wellbeing. I am especially passionate about supporting mothers in their postpartum journey, whether they are facing postpartum depression or anxiety or simply need compassionate support during this significant life chapter.
As a bilingual therapist fluent in Spanish, I have had the privilege of working closely with the Latino community in therapeutic settings, which has further enriched and expanded my clinical practice. Outside of therapy, I am passionate about maintaining a balanced and grounded lifestyle.
I enjoy starting my mornings with journaling and coffee, staying active by going to the gym 5–6 times a week, and cherishing time with my family and long walks. I bring this holistic and mindful approach into my therapeutic work, believing deeply in the connection between mental, emotional, and physical wellness.
